Balanced Modulator/Demodulator DSBSC   (2208)

Aim: To study of balanced modulated (LM 1496) characteristics. To observe the effect of multiplier gain, to observe the process of carrier null, to obtain DSB SC signal from it. to study of balanced demodulator as product demodulator. The kit consists balanced modulator in form of two quadrant multiplier chip 1496, modulation transformer, carrier signal generator and AF waveform generator with associated components upon the board. Two quadrants multiplier chip 1496 as balanced demodulator. Inbuilt local oscillator of variable frequency low pass filter.
