MELDE’S APPARATUS (1425)
To demonstrate stationary waves by means of stretched string. Consists of electrical
tuning fork, bench clamp pulley, scale pan and cord.
ORGAN PIPE SLIDING (1426)
Made of square section of polished wood and fitted with a tapered mouthpiece. It has
a
sliding square graduated piston to give a diatonic scale from C256 to C512.

RESONANCE APPARATUS SIMPLE (1428)
Comprises two metal tubes, one sliding in the other to change the resonant length
of
the air column set up by a vibrating tuning fork. The outer tube is fitted on a wooden
block.
RESONANCE APPARATUS (1429)
Consists of a brass nickel plated resonance tube of 100cm length fitted on a wooden
stand. A brass reservoir slides over a metal rod supported on the base. The reservoir can be clamped at desired position
to change the level of water in the metal tube. The level of water can be read against a meter scale in a glass/polystrene
transparent tube fitted on the wooden plank. Complete with rubber tubing.

RIPPLE TANK (1430)
The apparatus consists of tray (Size : 590 x 510 x 70mm approx.) with detachable four legs having
leveling screws. Its edges formed into 'beaches' to minimize the unwanted reflection of waves. The tank is provided with a
drain hole closed with a rubber bung. Light alloy uprights to carry a horizontal rippler support rod are provided, height of
the rippler assembly can be adjusted easily and precisely. The rippler assembly elastically suspended from its support rod,
consists of a 4-6V D.C. motor mounted on a wooden beam (size : 280 x 30 x 20mm). The motor is fitted with an eccentric mass
to give oscillations to the beam. Two plastic spheres mounted on right angled rods fitted into the beam may be adjusted to
any required separation. A light alloy rod fixed centrally to a socket in one short side of the tank provides support for the
illuminant. Two straight obstacles 130mm long one straight obstacle 40mm long and a curved reflector of 200mm radius are
provided to perform various experiments. A plastic tray to accommodate all the fittings except the legs is provided. The legs
and tray can be Supplied with power supply.

The
disc has 6 radial slots of 50x3mm extended to its edges. Disc dia. 250mm.
SONOMETER (1432)
